Face to Face with Liberty

Greetings from the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, the United States of America.

I just acclimatized myself and got over with my jet lag thus this chance to update my blog.

I am now in Las Vegas staying at the grand Bellagio Hotel with the view of the vibrant Las Vegas Boulevard.  But despite the alluring dancing lights of the world’s gambling capital and the frustrating agony of losing a luggage (which has many of the souvenirs in this travel) in one of America’s airlines that travel southwest, I still cannot get over the day I met Lady Liberty a few days ago.

I practically had goosebumps when I get to see her up close and I am more than happy to share them to those who dream that one day they would see her in ‘real’ life.

What she is, where she is from and what she symbolizes is bigger than her. A symbol of freedom,  hope and of liberty.

Here she is, the Statue of Liberty.

May your light continue to shine forevermore.
