It is time to hit the road again as the three-week long semester vacation officially began. I will drive for six-hours to reach the airport in Manila. The drive will begin in Kennon Road (see photos).
It is a 36-kilometers scenic route to Manila. The two-way winding road carved from the mountain slopes of the Cordillera Region in Northern Philippines will take you at the edge of your seats. The view along the road is spectacular which is not recommended for the driver to enjoy but the passengers certainly would. It is a breath-taking joy ride amidst steep hills, cliffs and ravines. Along side would be a variety of landscapes from lush green to grey rocks suspended up in the mountains. There is a long shallow river that cascades among small rocks and boulders and several waterfalls some of them along the highway.
I just can’t wait to go on another road trip !
